Emilia Wilson is a queer, disabled, emerging multidisciplinary artist currently living and working out of Vancouver, BC. Since Wilson’s fine art training at Fanshawe College, London, ON, she has had the opportunity to travel across Canada to display her craftsmanship. Recently, her work was on view as part of the MPA Studio Show at Petley Jones Gallery, Vancouver—a show supporting the recovery of people with mental illness and addictions. Her artwork was also recently presented as part of the Precious Frogs exhibition at the TELUS World of Science, which was used to promote awareness and action for the long term conservation of BC’s amphibians. Wilson’s first solo exhibition was at the Black Cat Artspace, Toronto, in March 2018, and her second at the East Village Arts Collective, London, ON, in April 2018.
