Lauren D. Zbarsky is a Vancouver-based artist and analogue photographer and curator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Victoria and a Photography Certificate from Langara College, Vancouver. Collaboration is a central theme in both her personal work and curatorial projects. Zbarsky also feels strongly about process and interaction in art. The processes and relationships around making and viewing art are just as important as the product. She has been working with local and national artists to create unique, interactive, and collaborative projects as Curator at Untitled Art Space since the gallery’s opening in 2015. Through the emphasis of physical space, Zbarsky aims to connect artists and viewers alike in order to cultivate and grow the city’s art community.
