GroundTruth

Hours

M–F: 10 am–5 pm; Sa&Su: 10 am–6 pm

GroundTruth is a collection of photographs documenting a journey from the tar sands of Alberta to the coast of British Columbia along the route of the proposed Northern Gateway oil pipeline. The exhibition examines both natural ecosystems and the lives of those who dwell along the route. The exhibit invites the viewer to consider what is to be valued in a modern Canada that is built upon resource extraction and energy production dependency in a world of diminishing biodiversity and climate change.
