Dance is an extension of the human experience. Moments spent lost in the dance are when we are most alive. Exhilarated. Exhausted. Elated. This series of photographs depicts dancers in Vancouver caught in a moment of peak artistry and endurance. Intelligence and strength brims from every muscle fibre. Breath catches on a wave of musicality. Extension reaches beyond the length of a limb. Vulnerability presents in the softness of a hand. Passion exists everywhere. Motion, stopped celebrates artists that intrigue us with their movement and their humanity.
