Gallery Row Still Going Strong

It’s no longer breaking news that South Granville’s galleries have experiences a massive turnover in the last couple years. Fortunately, this shift has given a chance for remaining established galleries to get some well deserved attention, and brought forth a new guard of ambitious gallerists showing work by exciting emerging artists–among them an excellent crop of young photographers.

We’re thrilled to be part of this exciting era with Capture exhibitions opening at three of our favourites (with more to come); Adam Fuss at Douglas Udell Gallery, Eric Deis at Elissa Cristall, and Christian Nicolay and Ya-chu Kang at Kimoto Gallery. Event pictures by Jean Cueta following.

Be sure to check out Initial Gallery tonight (Thursday October 17th) for Cipher Messaging – Angela Fama and Rebecca Chaperon.
