Barrie Jones

Barrie Jones is a photo artist who has lived and worked and taught in Vancouver for many years. He has an extensive exhibition record and his work is in the collections of a number of major Canadian galleries. Using analogue and digital photography and video, he focuses on both the portrait and the urban environment as sites where complex personal, social, and economic identities and histories coalesce and play out.
