Madalen Claire Benson holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Art History and Philosophy from the University of Toronto (2014) and a Master of Arts in Art History, Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2019). Benson has published with the University of Cambridge (2016), and the University of Minnesota Press (2020). As an art professional and independent curator Benson curated the 2019 – 2020 exhibition program for the Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat (YXT), and is a co-curator on an experimental programming project, 酬眾 fundingcrowd. Benson is the Vice-President of the Abbotsford Arts Council Board of Directors (2019-2020). Currently, Benson is the Festival Manager at Capture Photography Festival.
