Sean Alward is a Vancouver-based artist primarily working in photography and painting. He received his BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, and MFA from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Exhibition venues include Helen Pitt Gallery, Or Gallery, 304 Days, Access Gallery, Wil Aballe Art Projects, and AHVA Gallery UBC, all in Vancouver; Richmond Art Gallery; Nanaimo Art Gallery; and Surrey Art Gallery. Permanent public art installations include the Nova Scotia Forensic Hospital in Newton Recreation Centre, New Westminster SkyTrain Station, and Newton Recreation Centre in Surrey.
