Wonder LAND
Wonder LAND is a photography project that reflects the effects of climate change in the Arctic and Small Island Developing States (Alaska, Greenland, Norway, Nunavut, Russia, Fiji, Tuvalu, Samoa, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Barbuda, and Seychelles). These geographically distant societies share characteristics of vulnerability and resilience and are among the first to feel the effects of climate change. The project illustrates the ethical dimension of climate change and also shows that the people of these regions are not helpless victims, but have a strong desire to see their cultures and communities survive and thrive.
Note: After the opening reception, the exhibition is open only before and after events at Little Mountain Gallery; please check the venue website.
