Yann Pocreau

Yann Pocreau (b. 1980, Québec, Qc; lives and works in Tiohtiá:ke / Mooniyang / Montréal, QC) holds a master’s degree in visual arts from the University of Quebec, Montreal. He has participated in several Canadian, American, and European exhibitions, including the Recontres d’Arles (France), the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Le Fresnoy, National Studio of Contemporary Arts (France), and recently at the Image Centre in Toronto. His work has been featured in various magazines and is included in numerous collections, including those of the National Bank of Canada, Hydro-Québec, Desjardins, Deloitte, CDPQ Infra, the City of Montreal, the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec, the Joliette Museum of Art, The Image Centre, and the Galerie de l’UQAM. He is represented by the Blouin Division gallery. Pocreau was the 2024 recipient of the Louis-Comtois Prize awarded by the City of Montreal where he currently lives and works.
