Abelardo Morell

Abelardo Morell is a Boston-based contemporary photographer interested in camera obscura and photogram techniques. Recently, Morell won the 2011 International Center of Photography Infinity Award. Morell’s work resides in numerous international collections, including the Brooklyn Museum, the Gap Corporation, San Francisco; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, among numerous others. Upcoming major solo exhibitions include Abelardo Morell: The Universe Next Door, which travels to the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013.
