Adad Hannah is a Vancouver-based artist known for his work in video, photography, sculpture, and installation. He holds a PhD and MFA from Concordia University and an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art & Design.

While primarily an artist, Hannah enjoys the challenge and collaborative element of curating, and recently curated Observation – Phyllis Lambert, selections from the photographs of Phyllis Lambert taken over a period of 60 years, at Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain, Montreal. His most recent curatorial project is Into the Wosk Collection: Discovery & Wonder at the Audain Art Museum, co-curated by Kiriko Watanabe.

Hannah has exhibited widely across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and South America. His work is held in numerous public and private collections nationally and internationally, and he has received several major awards for his practice. Hannah is currently a trustee of the National Gallery of Canada and is represented by Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain in Montreal and Equinox Gallery in Vancouver.
