Alex Morrison

Alex Morrison was born in Redruth, UK, and currently lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. In his 2015 tandem exhibitions at the Burnaby Art Gallery and SFU Galleries, Morrison investigated the built environments and their countercultural inhabitation. He recently exhibited his work in Trusses at the Naniamo Art Gallery, 2016, and My House Is My World, Kölnsicher Kunstverein, Cologne, 2012. His work has also been included in international exhibitions at Witte de With, Rotterdam, 2012; Catriona Jeffries, Vancouver, 2012; Artspeak, Vancouver, 2010; National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, 2010; CSA Space, Vancouver, 2009; and Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, Vancouver, 2008.
