Andrea Valentine-Lewis holds an MA in Art History from McGill University where her research was supported by SSHRC (2020), and a BA in Art, Performance and Cinema Studies from Simon Fraser University (2018). Her curatorial projects have been presented at Equinox Gallery (Vancouver), Deluge Contemporary Art (Victoria), and Unit 17 (Vancouver). Her critical writing has appeared in Peripheral Review, ReIssue, Galleries West, and as didactic texts for exhibitions at Art Mûr (Montréal), Daniel Faria Gallery (Toronto), 313 Art Projects (Seoul), Unit 17 (Vancouver), among others. Valentine-Lewis is currently the Gallery Manager at Burrard Arts Foundation, and on the board of directors at UNIT/PITT.
