Anthony Lepore

Anthony Lepore (b. 1977, Burbank, CA) received his BFA from Fordham University in 2000 and his MFA from Yale University in 2005. His works have been the subject recent exhibitions at Moskowitz Bayse, Del Vaz Projects, Public Fiction, and Francois Ghebaly Gallery in Los Angeles, Left Field Gallery in Los Osos, CA, and the Chan Gallery at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. His works have been included in recent institutional exhibitions including Golden Hour: California Photography from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which was organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and traveled to the Riverside Museum of Art, the Lancaster Museum of Art and History, the Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College, and the California State University, Northridge, Art Galleries, and In Focus: Writing for the Camera at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. His works are held in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim Museum (New York), the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), the J. Paul Getty Museum (Los Angeles), the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art (Kansas City, Missouri) and Yale University Art Gallery (New Haven, Connecticut), among others. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
