Avery Hannig is a Vancouver based visual artist and curator. He is the co-founder of the Open Source Arts curatorial project and the exhibitions manager at North Van Arts. He completed a BFA in Photography at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2019. His work examines place, historicity and technology. His projects have been supported by Translink, Grunt Gallery, Ranger Station Gallery, Vancouver Art Book Fair and the Shumka Centre for Creative Entrepreneurship.
