Dr. Melissa Karmen Lee is the CEO of the Chinese Canadian Museum and a curator whose work is rooted in social practice, diaspora studies, and cultural memory. She is the lead curator of Dream Factory: Cantopop, Mandopop 1980s-2000 at the Chinese Canadian Museum and Play/Jour: Rirkrit Tiravanija at Foundation Phi Montréal, Canada. Her projects frequently engage photography, archives, and community participation to explore identity, migration, and representation, fostering dialogue across cultures and generations.
