Ella Morton (b. 1986, Vancouver, BC) holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design (2008) and a Master of Fine Arts from York University (2015). Her work has been exhibited at Lonsdale Gallery (Toronto), Foley Gallery (New York), 516 Arts (Albuquerque), Contemporary Calgary (Calgary), Galérie AVE (Montréal), SPAO Gallery, (Ottawa), the Turchin Center for the Arts (North Carolina), Photographic Center Northwest (Seattle) and Hanstholm Art Space (Denmark). Upcoming solo exhibitions include Gallery 44 (Toronto, 2025), the Halide Project (Philadelphia, 2025) and Cambridge Galleries (Cambridge, 2026). Morton was the recipient of the 2021 Environmental Award from Center Santa Fe and a 2023 Chalmers Arts Fellowship from the Ontario Arts Council. She lives and works in Toronto, ON.
