Emily De Boer (she/her) is a disabled interdisciplinary artist working with collage, various methods of printmaking, analog and digital photography, ceramics, sculpture, and installation to respond to her environment. She holds a Master of Fine Arts and BFA with a major in Critical and Cultural Practices from Emily Carr University. She engages chance, glitch theory, the disability concept of misfit, her embodied knowledge and education in accessibility to construct radically inclusive spaces. De Boer responds to her environment by reconstructing it into one where the often unwanted glitches become structurally integral.
