Janet Sadel is a professional artist, photographer, and educator. Her visual arts training included studies in New York City, Toronto, and Jerusalem, including at New York’s Arts Students League and the Bezalel Art Institute.
Sadel’s photographs and photo-based artworks address the wonder and sometimes terrible beauty of landscapes and nature. She often explores unique abstract qualities in urban scenes or unexpected viewpoints of her subjects. She shows us aspects of the urban landscape in such places as Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco, Paris, Marseilles, Seattle, and New York City. Her passion for photography has taken her to Europe and across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Sadel’s photographs are held in corporate and private collections in Europe and throughout North America.
