Juliana Bedoya is visual artist with experience developing interactive exhibitions, public installations, and delivering arts programming that support community participation. For the past seven years she has worked as a curator, arts programmer, and community activator. She was the former gallery manager of the ArtStarts Gallery and Resource Centre and recently joined the District of West Vancouver as the Community Arts Supervisor at the Ferry Building Gallery. Bedoya has in-depth knowledge of space activation for community participation, social practice, place-based pedagogy, experiential education, and workshop design. She currently engages emerging and professional artists, including those who are Indigenous and from diverse cultural traditions and disciplines, to collaborate with community members and deliver arts programming based on specific event and community engagement goals
