Artist Statement

For most me and many others, LEGO’s were a huge part of our childhoods. Despite this, once we grow up most of us tend to throw our LEGOs away as we no longer have a need for them. Rather than being properly recycled, they tend to end up in landfills. LEGO’s are made out of a plastic-type called ABS which can take over 1,000 years to decompose. This photo shows the damage that thrown out LEGO’s can cause and that we should try to find a new home for them rather than just throwing them out.
