Kosar Movahedi holds a BSc in Architecture from the University of Tehran (2018) and an MFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria (2023). Her work has been exhibited at the Victoria Arts Council (Victoria); Mount Pleasant Community Art Screen by Grunt Gallery (Vancouver); and Ex-Libris Gallery (Newcastle, UK). Her work will be presented in solo exhibitions at Xchanges Gallery (Victoria, 2024); Ministry of Casual Living (Victoria, 2024); and the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art (Kelowna, 2024). Movahedi was the recipient of SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship (2022); and the Audain Travel Award (2022). She currently lives and works on the unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples in Victoria, BC.
