Krist Gruijthuijsen (born 1980) is a curator and art critic and since 1 July 2016 director of KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin. He was the artistic director of the Grazer Kunstverein (since 2012) and course leader in the department of fine art at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. He co-founded the Kunstverein Amsterdam, which he directed from 2009 to 2012 and he has curated numerous exhibitions, including some for the Artists Space in New York and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
