Lan “Florence” Yee 余承佳 is a visual artist and cultural worker. Lan obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University and a Master of Fine Arts from Ontario College of Art & Design University as a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Scholar. Lan’s work has been exhibited at the Art Museum at The University of Toronto (2024), Textile Museum of Canada (2023-24), Darling Foundry (2022), Toronto Museum of Contemporary Art (2021), and Gardiner Museum (2019), among others. In 2025, they will be presented in solo presentations at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (Lethbridge, AB) and Artspace (Peterborough, ON). They are a recipient of the William and Meredith Saunderson Prizes for Emerging Artists (2023).
