Lauren Lavery

Lauren Lavery is an emerging artist based in Vancouver, where she is completing her BFA with honours at Simon Fraser University. Her material-based practice includes mainly sculpture, photography, and installation. She is interested in the concept of the female body and its engagement with the changing, stagnant, and manipulated elements of the various spaces it inhabits. Her work has been exhibited throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and she is Co-editor of Peripheral Review, a Vancouver-based online platform of exhibition reviews.
