Mickey Nielsen is a documentary-based photographer currently residing and working in Toronto, Canada. After attending art school, she went on to graduate with a BFA from Ryerson University in Photographic Image Arts. Her recent years have been spent self-publishing books and further developing personal long-term projects such as The Jacob Family, a series chronicling a family’s experience supporting the development of their autistic children in northern Ontario.
