New York-based artist Moyra Davey has been exhibiting internationally since the 1980s. Spring 2020 will see a major survey of her work at the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa. Her work has been the subject of major solo exhibitions at institutions world-wide, including the Harvard Art Museum, Cambridge, MA (2008); Kunsthalle Basel (2010); Camden Arts Centre, London (2014); Bergen Kunsthall, Norway (2016); Portikus, Frankfurt/Main (2017); and Ryerson Image Centre, Toronto (2019). Her work is found in major public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Tate Modern in London. In 2004, Davey was granted the Anonymous Was a Woman Award, and in 2018, was the recipient of the Scotiabank Photography Award.
