Nancy Silva Grifé is a Vancouver-based architect and photographer from Mexico. Her photographic practice explores both natural and cultural landscapes. Informed by her urban design and architecture background, she has a special interest for subjects of culture, race, class, and gender preconceptions in spatial constructs. She holds a Bachelor in Architecture from ITESM Mexico and a Master in Urban Design and Housing from McGill University, Montreal, and she is currently pursuing a Certificate of Photography from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Vancouver. She has resided in Europe, Latin America, and North America, all of which have greatly influenced her work.
