Olivia Sari-Goerlach is a photographer with a passion for capturing images. She specializes in portraiture, documentary, and food photography, with a photographic aesthetic that has been heavily influenced by her background in graphic design and photojournalism. She started her career in 2010 working for an established studio in Sydney, where she fell in love with portraiture. Based in Singapore from 2011 to 2015, she continued to practice her photography, actively seeking out collaborative projects with other creatives and taking on interesting solo projects.
Sari-Goerlach works on both a commercial and personal level in her photography. Relocating to Vancouver in 2016, new creative opportunities were presented, the most exciting and challenging of which being the Creative Director of MNSTR Gallery, an artist-run initiative that she started with her partner in the city. The creative studio and gallery has given her the platform to exhibit their creative works, to create a collaborative environment with other artists and offers the opportunity for creative experimentation and exploration.
