Sami Farra

Sami Farra is a photographer and architect based in Lausanne, Switzerland. At the intersection of image and object, his work explores the photographic medium as a tool for questioning reality, offering a distinctive and refined perspective on the built and everyday environment. Introduced to photography and theories of representation during his architectural studies at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, he developed a growing interest in the image as a critical and conceptual practice. This led him to pursue advanced studies in visual communication, specializing in photography at the Centre d’enseignement professionnel de Vevey, where he further investigated the relationship between photography and architecture.

Today, he balances commissioned architectural photography with the development of artistic projects, alongside various visual communication collaborations. Since 2020, his work has been presented in several photographic exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, and the United States, and has been published in multiple collective publications.
