Sarah Anne Johnson (b.1976, Winnipeg, MB, Canada; lives and works in Winnipeg, MB, Canada) Johnson holds an MFA from the Yale School of Art and a BFA from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. Johnson’s work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions internationally, including at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Contemporary Art Museum Raleigh, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Confederation Centre of the Arts. She is the recipient of many grants and awards and is included in several distinguished collections, such as the National Gallery of Canada, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Vancouver Art Gallery. Johnson is represented by Yossi Milo Gallery (New York), Stephen Bulger (Toronto), and Division Gallery (Montreal).
