Shannon Ebner

Shannon Ebner is an artist, writer, and curator based in Los Angeles, California, where she teaches Photography at the University of Southern California’s Roski School of Art and Design. Her works intersect image with language, interrogating the constructed nature of both the photographic frame and written word. Over the last two years alone, Ebner’s works have been featured in group exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Italy, the UK, Israel, and across the USA. Recent solo exhibitions include A Language of Exposures (2013) at Wallspace, New York, and The Electric Comma (2013) at Sadie Coles, London, UK. In 2015, Ebner’s work will also be the focus of an exhibition at the ICA Miami.
