Shaun Dacey, Richmond Art Gallery

Shaun Dacey is Director of the Richmond Art Gallery. Previous to this he was Curator at the Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver (2012–16), where he produced a distinct program of exhibitions, educational initiatives, and off-site projects with particular focus on the development of the CAG’s Burrard Marina Field House Studio residency program. During his tenure he produced projects with artists such as Krista Belle Stewart, Keg de Souza, Walter Scott, Marie Lorenz, Jerome Havre, Sameer Farooq, and Mirjam Linschooten. His previous positions include Director/Curator of Access Gallery (2010–13), Public Programmer at the Burnaby Art Gallery (2010–13), and Youth Programmes Coordinator at Oakville Galleries (2005–08). Dacey holds a Master of Critical and Curatorial Studies from the University of British Columbia.
