Sophie Jane-Brindle is an artist working in photography exploring technology, visual culture, and consumption in relation to identity and perception. Using the internet as a cultural and aesthetic framework, her work investigates the shift towards online-based realities, the proliferation of individualism and the effects of technology surpassing our ability to absorb it. Her curatorial work and photography has been published in Woo Magazine (2024), Residue (POPOP Gallery Montreal), Skate Witches, and the Sweet Pea Gallery. Brindle is currently completing her BFA in Photography at the the Emily Carr University of Art + Design
