Vilhelm Sundin’s work is heavily influenced by his Scandinavian heritage, philosophy, world cinema and the photo-conceptual work that emanates from his adopted home city of Vancouver. Sundin holds an MFA from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, and he completed his Bachelor of Media Arts at Emily Carr University. Sundin’s work was featured in the Polygon Gallery’s inaugural exhibition N. Vancouver, and he won the Philip B. Lind Emerging Artist Award in 2016. After moving from his native Sweden in 2006, Vilhelm Sundin now lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
