Vitor Leão is a visual artist with a background in graphic design, currently living in Vancouver to pursue his career as a professional photographer. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the endless summers were never quite appealing to him. After his first visit to Vancouver in 2010, he immediately knew there was an abundance of nature to explore. British Columbia offered the perfect climate for him to express the inner peace he felt, especially when shooting nature under wet, moody conditions. It was calming to have fewer people out, the clouds closer to the ground, and the sound of raindrops hitting the bushes. Leão is currently enrolled in the Professional Photography Program at Langara College.
