Wes Bell holds a Diploma in Visual Communications – Photography from the Alberta College of Art and a BFA from the Alberta University of the Arts. His work has been exhibited at the Center for Photographic Art (Carmel, CA), Contemporary Calgary (Calgary, AB), and Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg (Wolfsburg, Germany). His work will be presented in a two-person exhibition at the Sidney and Gertrude Zack Gallery at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver (2026). Wes Bell was the recipient of the Jurist Selection, LensCulture Exposure Awards (2018), and the Bronze Award, Royal Photographic Society International Exhibition 160, London, UK (2017). He currently lives and works in Medicine Hat, AB.
