Wil Aballe

In 2013, Wil Aballe, previously a collector and programming chair for the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver, founded Wil Aballe Art Projects or WAAP. Since its inception, the gallery has worked with over 130 artists in approximately 90 exhibitions, mostly solo presentations with artists working in a variety of media. The gallery represents 10 artists, including Evann Siebens, Charles Campbell, Nico Williams, Nicolas Sassoon, Ryan Quast, Chantal Gibson and Kim Kennedy Austin, among others. Outside of Vancouver, the gallery has done exhibitions in Toronto, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Brussels, Athens and Cologne.
