Yactac Collective

The Young Asian Canadian Twin Artists Collective (Yactac) stems from the uniqueness of Yactac culture, one that is infused with coincidences, cohesive thinking, *magic, and irony. Its goal is to channel those unique elements into the creation/formation/discussion of contemporary art.

Yactac is a collective that is dedicated to the necessities of art flow. It promotes, supports, and encourages the creation of art daily, as its founders believe in the innate creative qualities of art-making within us all. In that, the collective practices art as a lifestyle where art and life become identical.

Yactac serves as the jump base for innovative ideas and approaches to penetrate contemporary culture through spontaneous interventions of every size. It throws shows, hosts dance parties, and has interactive live events and projects. The collective also recognizes and embraces the public for support and feedback.

Yactac members are Janice / Justine Cheung and Peggy / Karen Ngan
