Born 1987 in Fukui, Yoshinori Mizutani attended the Tokyo College of Photography after graduating from Nihon University College of Economics. Mizutani was selected for the LensCulture Emerging Talents Awards Top 50 (2014) and the Foam Magazine Talent Call (2014). He has quickly established worldwide recognition, and amassed an impressive list of solo exhibitions in numerous countries, including, IMA gallery (Tokyo), aura gallery (Beijing) , ibasho gallery (Belgium), Christophe Guye Galerie (Switzerland), Webber gallery (London), and mc2 gallery (Milan). Mizutani has so far published four books from IMA photobooks: Tokyo Parrots (2014), Colors (2015), YUSURIKA (2015), and HANON (2016). He lives and works in Tokyo.
