Capture Photography Festival is pleased to announce the inaugural Capture Printing Prize, with a value of $10,000 CAD. The Printing Prize will be awarded annually to an artist participating in Capture’s Selected Exhibition Program.
Adjudicated by a jury of art professionals, the Printing Prize is open to local, national and international lens-based artists with a history of exhibiting their work in a professional capacity, who have been selected to participate in the Festival. The artist awarded the Printing Prize will be provided $10,000 towards the production of the artist’s work at Studio f604, a fine art photographic studio in Vancouver. These funds can be used towards digital archiving, printing, mounting, finishing and framing of work for presentation in the artist’s Capture Selected Exhibition.
Studio f6o4 is a fine art photography studio specializing in custom photographic production projects ranging from analog to digital archiving, such as drum scanning and flatbed scanning, to fabricating inkjet and silver gelatin prints. For more information, please visit www.studiof6o4.com
Submissions for the Capture Printing Prize will open with the call for submissions to Capture’s Selected Exhibition Program for 2021, in the fall of 2020.
