Meet at the entrance to the Arbutus Greenway on the northeast corner of Burrard St and W 6th Ave, Vancouver
Join Capture’s Festival Manager, Madalen Benson, for a guided tour of an outdoor public art project curated by Julie Crooks, Associate Curator of Photography at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Located on a series of Pattison Outdoor Billboards along the Arbutus Greenway, the project features photography by Christina Leslie and Bidemi Oloyede and explores issues of race, place, and belonging. Leslie is a Toronto-based photographer whose work centres on themes of immigration, marginalization, race, and memory. Creating images of social landscapes, Oloyede is a Toronto-based street and documentary style portrait photographer.
Please note this is a walking tour.
