Join artist Rebecca Wang 王晨釔 for a tour of her current exhibition, Blooming While Withering at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. This exhibition features film, digital, and phone photographic works that delve into selfhood and identity in a contemporary diasporic context through partly autobiographical narratives. It captures subtle, everyday moments as a quiet journey of self-discovery and revelation, as the artist navigates a fragmented sense of belonging.

Rebecca Wang 王晨釔 is an artist and curator based between her hometown of Hangzhou, China, and the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations, also known as Vancouver, Canada. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, a BBA from Simon Fraser University, and is currently pursuing an MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies at the University of British Columbia. Rebecca works as the Curatorial Assistant at Richmond Art Gallery and serves as Board Treasurer at Access Gallery.
