In this lens-based workshop, families (ages 5+) are introduced to art works that investigate human form, movement, and gesture. The first half of the workshop focuses on the work of pioneering photographer Eadweard Muybridge and his studies of motion in the human body. The second half focuses on Dada artist Hannah Höch and her use of found images of faces, eyes, and hands. Families will experiment capturing their own bodies in motion and will cut and paste these images, along with found photographs from magazines and newspapers, into their very own layered collages.
Workshops start at 11 am and 1 pm.
