The Polygon Art Gallery presents a special one-day presentation of the work of Ukrainian documentary filmmaker and photographer Liliya Syvytska together with the screening of her documentary Elegy of Living Voices. The footage captures the life of the cities in the Chernihiv Region after surviving the Russian occupation. Syvytska shows hope and light, brought by local community and volunteers, despite the horrific tragedies and darkness that comes with war.
The film will be playing on a continuous loop throughout the day.

Currently, she works as co-director for the Art Shield foundation, and is in the post-production for her film Roots (Korinnya), exploring the painful challenges of temporarily displaced Ukrainians in foreign lands.
