Join Karen Zalamea on a walking tour of her outdoor exhibition Vitrine, displayed on the storefront windows of businesses around the South Granville BIA. Vitrine is comprised of a series of photographs in conversation with the possibilities of display. The window functions as a threshold between interior and exterior spaces, as an aperture that frames our field of vision.
Tour is FREE and open to the public. RSVP required.
Tour participants will meet at 1501 W Broadway, Vancouver.
The Stable House Bistro is located at 1520 W 13th Ave, Vancouver. The Stable House Bistro will provide complimentary meat and cheese platters. Guests are invited to purchase their own drinks. For menu please see: http://thestablehouse.ca/
Accessibility: The tour will take place on public sidewalks. We will not be entering any of the businesses. However, the South Granville neighbourhood is on a hill. The post-tour reception will be held at the Stable House Bistro. This location is wheelchair accessible. All ages welcome.
Karen Zalamea’s Vitrine is presented by Capture Photography Festival in partnership with the South Granville BIA.
