Explore downtown Vancouver through your camera as we move through the city together. This workshop is built around a practical approach to street photography. We will spend time looking at composition, timing, and how to work with candid moments, along with ways of seeing and responding to what is happening around you. There will be guidance throughout, but also space to shoot and experiment at your own pace.

We will move through a route we have developed over time, stopping at locations that tend to offer strong visual possibilities. Along the way, we will talk through what we are seeing, how to approach a scene, and how to adapt when things are not working. The goal is to help you feel more comfortable on the street, develop your own way of seeing, and come away with images that feel intentional and considered.
