See It, Snap It/Like It, Take It is a unique photography event designed to immerse participants in the world of street photography. Try your hand at taking street photography images and view our “street” photo gallery. During our See It, Snap It scavenger hunt we will visit popular street photography sites in downtown Vancouver where participants can capture images featuring shadows, reflections, gestures, and other classic street photography styles. With a variety of categories and challenges, our scavenger hunt is a fun and exciting way to discover new sights, meet new people, and unleash your inner photographer. Join us for an afternoon of adventure, creativity, and friendly competition, and see how your photos stack up against the rest! Those who complete the scavenger hunt will be eligible for prizes including VanSPC Zines and other swag.

The Vancouver Street Photography Collective (VanSPC) is a non-profit society bringing together photographers from Vancouver and beyond to create and share diverse street photography approaches and aesthetics. We are founded on the principles of exploration, engagement, and inclusion. For us, street photography is a way to interact with the world, the everyday and the spectacular, and capturing those interactions through photography that is grounded in the streets, and at the same time, evocative of our individual artistic visions. We strive to offer a welcoming space to learn about, practice and display street photography through meet-ups, exhibitions, publications and simply walking the streets to discover new moments of inspiration.
