Join TD Assistant Curator of Engagement, Sarah Wang, on a described tour of the highlights from Here and Now, a Featured Exhibition for the 2023 Capture Photography Festival. Presented in partnership with VocalEye.

Here and Now celebrates Capture Photography Festival’s tenth anniversary by commissioning ten local artists – Jaiden George, Khim Hipol, Tom Hsu, Alexine McLeod, Dana Qaddah, Isaac Thomas, Ian Wallace, Gloria Wong, Jin-me Yoon, Karen Zalamea – to create new lens-based artworks. The artists, selected for their varied approaches to the medium, have each been asked to respond in some way to this place – by considering the landscape, history, people, or culture – with an aim to produce a dynamic exhibition that revels in the diversity of the city itself.

Here and Now is organized by Capture Photography Festival and curated by Emmy Lee Wall, Executive Director, and Chelsea Yuill, Assistant Curator

Presented by the Audain Foundation and generously supported by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, Heffel Fine Art Auction House, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
